An entrepreneurial holding company founded by a U.S. Navy nuclear submarine officer and Harvard Business School graduate — acquiring and operating small businesses with purpose, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to their people and legacy.
Trident Waves is not a private equity fund. There are no investors waiting for a 5-year exit. When we acquire a business, Fletcher becomes fully involved — supporting transition, planning, and improvements alongside the existing team for the long haul.
Our model is simple: Buy, Run, and Partner. We acquire businesses with proven fundamentals, engage hands-on, and build genuine partnerships with employees, customers, and communities.
When you've spent decades building something — your employees, your customers, your reputation — you deserve a buyer who understands what that means. Trident Waves offers a real pathway to preserve your legacy, protect your customer relationships, and ensure the livelihoods of the people who helped you build it.
Your life's work deserves to continue. We honor the culture, values, and reputation you've built — carrying them forward, not dismantling them.
The people who helped you build your business matter. We commit to the employees and communities that depend on the organizations we steward.
Customer trust is earned over years. We protect and deepen the relationships founders have built — because those relationships are the business.
Every conversation with Trident Waves is confidential, low-pressure, and led by Fletcher personally. We move at your pace and structure deals that work for you.
Fletcher's career was built on one principle: when you're responsible for people and mission, you don't delegate accountability. He led nuclear reactor operations on a ballistic missile submarine, directed hemispheric naval strategy at U.S. Fourth Fleet, and went to Harvard Business School to learn how to acquire and operate small businesses.
When Trident Waves acquires your business, Fletcher doesn't hand it off. He becomes fully involved in transition, planning, and improvements — earning the team's trust from the ground up.
If you've built something meaningful and want it to land with someone who treats your employees, customers, and legacy with care — this is the right conversation to start.
The story behind the company, the man who leads it, and the values that guide every decision.
Trident Waves LLC was founded with a single, clear purpose: to acquire enduring small businesses and operate them with the same discipline, accountability, and long-term thinking that defines military service.
The trident — a symbol of creation, stability, and enduring strength — mirrors what Trident Waves does: something practical, grounded, and built to last.
We are a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), registered with SAM.gov and certified through the SBA — reflecting our commitment to service, integrity, and accountability.
Fletcher built his career at the intersection of leadership, operations, and engineering across military, industrial, and entrepreneurial environments. He began as a U.S. Navy Nuclear Submarine Officer, leading engineering teams aboard ballistic missile submarines — overseeing safety-critical reactor operations and ranking #1 among his peers.
At U.S. Fourth Fleet Command, he served as Command Center Director — directing hemispheric naval operations and leading UNITAS, the world's longest-running international maritime exercise, with participants from more than 20 countries across Central and South America.
After leaving active duty, Fletcher earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School focused on entrepreneurship through acquisition. He founded Trident Waves LLC and in December 2025 acquired Recreation Engineering, LLC — becoming fully involved in its transition, operations, planning, and improvements.
Fletcher is passionate about building strong teams, preserving institutional knowledge, and creating long-term value for employees, customers, and communities.
